There is no sign on the small villa
to indicate it's an eating establishment. But Addis residents in the know with
a hankering for some teray-sega (raw meat) know how to find "Balestra,"
the unofficial name of the of the unofficial restaurant. The eatry got its name
from the Italian word used in Addis to describe the spring suspension used in
car. Balestra=Goden. Goden serves the same purpose as a balestra in livestock.
